Aluminum Cylinder Finishes
Painted cylinders come in a variety of colors and involve a two-step process. First, the color is applied using a spray-on powder coating. Then, the cylinders are baked at a specific temperature to give them a premium, high-gloss finish.
Brushed No Coat (BNC)
The cylinder is spun underneath a belt sander giving it a shiny "brushed" finish
Natural Finish
This is how the bare metal looks directly following its heat treatment. It is naturally steaked and smudged and considered ugly by some, but it is a few dollars less in price. It is a good choice for high-use applications like rental departments, schools and resorts.
Shot Blast
The bare metal cylinder is “bead blasted” for texture and results in a uniform dark gray finish
